According to the New York Times, satellite imagery shows that after one of the strongest earthquakes in decades struck Russia's Far East region last week, a local nuclear submarine base suffered minor damage. According to satellite imagery captured by commercial satellite company Planet Labs, a floating dock at the Rybachiy submarine base, one of the important bases of the Russian Pacific Fleet located on the Kamchatka Peninsula, appears to be seriously damaged.
