OpenAI has launched the next-generation model GPT-5, which is now available to all users, including free users, starting today. The company stated that this model performs the strongest globally in writing, programming, and medical assistance. OpenAI CEO Altman said that after using GPT-5, trying to go back to using GPT-4 would be painful. Another major feature of GPT-5 is that it will automatically decide whether to switch to the reasoning model version based on the user's question. GPT-5 is now available to all users, including free, Plus, Pro, Team, and Enterprise users. Microsoft also announced that it will integrate GPT-5 into Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot, and Azure AI Foundry platforms.
