At the World Masters Swimming Championships held in Singapore, Taiwan's treasure swimmer Grandma Tang Chengyao won gold in the 100-meter蛙式 event in the 95-99 age group today with a time of 5 minutes and 44.50 seconds, breaking the event record. At 97 years old, Tang Chengyao was the only participant in the 95-99 age group's 100-meter蛙式 event. Despite this, Tang Chengyao swam the entire distance and happily broke the event record. She also received enthusiastic applause from the audience after the competition. Tang Chengyao won five gold medals in the World Veterans Games in Taipei in May this year, achieving 'success in both water and land'. At 98 years old in October this year, she has previously expressed her desire to stay active as long as she lives, saying, 'I hope to become an athlete who lives to be 100 years old.'
