Wellington Woman Stops Man Stealing Gas Before He Injuries Himself
A Wellington woman attempted to stop a man who stole gas from a BP station before she was injured in a crash and hospitalized. Police have intervened in the investigation, stating that the man suffered non-lethal injuries.
The incident occurred in the Brooklyn region when a man tried to steal fuel without paying from the station. The woman saw this and冲 forward to prevent him, but he then drove away, causing her to fall to the ground. The man's wife stated that she was working at the register when she witnessed the entire event.
According to the man's wife:
"When she opened the back door, the car started moving and drove off. She fell to the ground, but luckily, she was not too far from the car."
Policing arrived on the scene and conducted an initial investigation, which revealed that the man had suffered non-lethal injuries.
The man's wife expressed gratitude to the Brooklyn community for their support and assistance. She said:
"Our business is ongoing, but this has been a tough situation for us. The person involved in this incident is not from the local area... We are very grateful for the community's support and the good people who have helped her."
She also mentioned that over the past 15 years at the gas station, she had never experienced anything like this.
