Lani Daniels vs. Claressa Shields: New Zealand star aims for victory

Thirty-year-old Lani Daniels, from New Zealand's Waangaori tribe, has made a name for herself in the world of professional boxing. She holds multiple world titles in her weight class and recently became the undisputed world champion after defeating another Waangaori fighter.

Despite not having an ideal recent record, Daniels' career is filled with highlights. As a female boxer, she is widely regarded as one of the greatest ("Gwoat") with 16 professional wins to her name and three consecutive victories in mixed martial arts.

If she can defeat former undisputed champion Claressa Shields, Daniels will become New Zealand's first woman to achieve a unified title or undisputed status in modern boxing history. Currently ranked as one of the best lightweights, she has 11 wins and 2 losses, with her last fight being a successful defense of her IBF lightweight title against Bolatito Oluwole.

This upcoming bout marks an important milestone for Daniels as she steps onto a stage outside New Zealand. It will be a significant achievement in her career.
