Dia, the 79-year-old music icon who lost her husband Carl Dean two months ago, has been working tirelessly since then. The star, who was married to Carl for 60 years, opened up about how she's coping with life after his passing. She told a daytime talk show: "Oh, you know? When someone mentions that, I get very excited. But we were together for 60 years. I fell in love with him at 18. Trying to change habits and routines requires big adjustments. I will do well and stay fully committed to my work—that's the best thing about my life right now. Of course, I will always miss him and will always love him. He was a great partner for me."

She also joked that she didn't realize how famous Carl Dean was before his death, and expressed gratitude to her fans for their support during this difficult time. She wrote: "I am very grateful. I have received so many letters, cards, and flowers from around the world. I don't know how famous Carl Dean is. After his passing, I posted on Instagram: 'At 18, I fell in love with Carl Dean. We spent 60 meaningful years together. Just like all beautiful love stories, they never end. They live in our memories and voices.' He will always be a star in my life story."

Just months later, she told Knox News: 'I'm doing much better than I thought I would. I've spent 60 years with him. So I'll learn to do some of the things we used to do. But I'll always have him by my side.'
