Suspect injured in fight over queue for washing hands at construction site in Kowloon Tong

A violent incident occurred at a construction site in Kowloon Tong today (9th). Around 4pm, a 42-year-old man surnamed Mo was assaulted by two men with punches and an iron rod at the site adjacent to the Hong Kong Children's Hospital on No. 1 Cheng Cheong Road. Mr. Mo suffered injuries including swelling and bleeding from his left eye, a broken hand, bruising on his back, and injuries to his neck. He went to the United Hospital's emergency department on his own and then reported the incident to the police. It is understood that the incident happened when the victim was queuing to wash his hands after finishing work, and he had a dispute with the two attackers over the queue. He did not know the attackers. The 2nd Squad of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sau Mau Ping Police Station is handling the case, which has been classified as 'assault'. The police are currently searching for two suspects aged approximately 30 to 40 years old and about 1.65 meters tall.
