Taiwan's exports have broken through 50 billion USD for three consecutive months, setting a new record. Looking ahead, officials from the Ministry of Finance said that industry insiders believe there is no gap period in AI demand, and they expect exports in August to remain stable above 50 billion USD, with exports in Q3 showing positive growth. It is estimated that the total value of exports for the whole year will cross the 500 billion USD threshold for the first time. Pearn Ma, Director of the Statistics Division at the Ministry of Finance, pointed out that the demand for AI artificial intelligence is very hot, and TSMC recently upgraded its full-year revenue forecast. Industry insiders believe that AI is a rigid demand and is not affected by short-term tariffs, and they estimate that exports in August will continue to exceed 50 billion USD, with a year-on-year growth rate of 17% to 22%. Pearn Ma analyzed that the four major data points - total exports for the first seven months, exports to the United States, exports to ASEAN, and exports of information and communication and audio-visual products - have all set new records for the same period, and it is estimated that the total value of exports for the whole year will definitely cross the 500 billion USD threshold for the first time, and exports in Q3 will also continue to show a positive growth trend.
