TSMC recently exposed an incident where engineers are suspected of stealing 2-nanometer process technology secrets. The Taiwan prosecution has applied for pretrial detention and a ban on contact for three individuals involved in the case. According to reports, the individuals involved may be associated with Japanese companies, and the stolen technical data includes about 1,000 photos, which may pose a significant threat to TSMC's technological advantage. In addition, U.S. President Trump stated that he would impose approximately 100% tariffs on imported semiconductors and require TSMC to invest $30 billion in the U.S., further intensifying the pressure on TSMC.
