Fanling arrest 30-year-old man suspected of trafficking etomidate vape cartridges

The police said that the anti-Triad Action Group of the Tai Po Police District, based on intelligence and in-depth investigation, launched a drug crackdown yesterday (7th). Police officers stopped a 30-year-old local man outside an apartment in Kafei Village, Fanling, and found four suspected etomidate vape cartridges on his person. Subsequently, police officers found 68 suspected etomidate vape cartridges at the man's residence, with a total estimated value of about HK$21,000. The man is suspected of 'trafficking dangerous drugs' and has been arrested and is currently being detained for investigation. The police reiterated that trafficking dangerous drugs is a serious offense. Under Chapter 134 of the Hong Kong Ordinance, the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, anyone who traffics dangerous drugs may be sentenced to a maximum fine of HK$5 million and life imprisonment upon conviction. Citizens are urged not to test the law.
