This evening (7th) around 7 p.m., a 3-year-old cream and yellow Shiba Inu fell from a high floor of Lai Yi Building in Lai Chi Kok Estate and died. After the police arrived at the scene upon receiving a report, they confirmed that the dog was clearly dead, and the site was later cleaned up by a cleaner. The dog owner, surnamed Hou (30 years old), reported that the windows in his unit were wide open, but claimed that the windows had good security. After an initial investigation, the police believed that the incident did not involve any criminal elements and handed the body back to the dog owner for handling. The case was recorded as 'discovery of an animal corpse'.
