Savills: Adidas to relocate its Greater China headquarters to the entire office building at West Bund Central Ring, Shanghai

Savills and Adidas jointly announced that the global sports brand Adidas will move into West Bund Central Ring in Shanghai in the fourth quarter of 2026. The entire office building has 18 floors and a total area of approximately 348,750 square feet. The office building is expected to be completed and delivered in the first quarter of 2026 and will be fully operational in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Stuart Grant, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of West Bund Central Ring, said that he welcomes Adidas to rent one of the office buildings. Adidas has decided to relocate its Greater China headquarters to this location, which will allow all employees and partners to enjoy the premium urban lifestyle created by West Bund Central Ring.
Grant said that in the past 12 months, about 850,000 square feet of office space has been leased at West Bund Central Ring project. Excluding the business park project, this leasing transaction is the largest leasing deal in the prime office market in Shanghai since 2023.

The new headquarters office building of Adidas will accommodate more than 1,500 employees. The building is equipped with a variety of employee facilities, including a full-floor fitness center. It is located next to Adidas RUNBASE, which is the brand's first year-round public running base in mainland China, providing an outstanding running experience for sports enthusiasts and helping Shanghai build a globally renowned sports city with practical actions.
Florian Schlosser, Chief Executive Officer of Adidas Greater China, said that choosing West Bund Central Ring marks the brand's commitment to continue deepening its presence in the Chinese market and strengthening the strategic hub position of Shanghai. Adidas is one of the four major institutions that were among the first to move into the first phase of the West Bund Central Ring project. West Bund Central Ring is located along the Huangpu River and is a high-quality integrated property covering an area of 18.298 million square feet. Savills will create 7 million square feet of prime office space in this area, distributed across 12 buildings.
