A couple in Lan Fung Court, Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon Tong, are suspected to have had an argument over emotional issues at around midnight today (6th). A 41-year-old female suspect is alleged to have used glass to injure the neck of her 45-year-old husband and was arrested. It is understood that the female suspect accidentally answered her husband's phone call, and the other party directly admitted to being her husband's girlfriend, shocking her with the revelation that her husband had an extramarital affair. Suspected of being overwhelmed by jealousy, the argument escalated, ultimately leading to a violent incident.

The injured man, surnamed Wong, 45, claimed to be a businessman. He suffered a cut to his neck and swelling on his head, and is currently receiving treatment at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. His wife, surnamed Li, 41, is a homemaker; they have a 13-year-old son.
It is understood that during the incident, the male suspect went outside to smoke, while his mobile phone was left in the room charging. During this time, the phone rang, and his wife answered it, only to hear the other party directly admit to being her husband's girlfriend. This led to an argument between the couple. Mrs. Wong took a glass tumbler from the table and attacked her husband. Her 13-year-old son intervened and reported the incident.
Police arrived at the scene and arrested Mrs. Wong. The male suspect was conscious and was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. The case is being handled by the Criminal Investigation Unit of Sham Shui Po Police Station.
