An assault case occurred in Kowloon Tong. Around midnight today (6th), the police received a report from a woman stating that her parents were arguing inside their residence at No. 1 Yulan Road, Lan Fong House. During the argument, the mother is suspected to have cut her husband's neck with shards of a glass bottle. The father immediately fell into a semi-coma and was sent by ambulance to Margaret Hospital for emergency treatment. After the police conducted an initial investigation on site, they arrested the mother who filed the report on suspicion of 'assault'. Meanwhile, the police collected evidence inside the involved unit and are currently investigating the incident and the motive behind the crime. The case is being handled by the 7th Division of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sham Shui Po Police Station. Investigation inside the involved unit.
