The Environmental Protection Bureau of Changhua County released a news statement on the 5th, explaining the promotion of the Low-Carbon Sustainable Home Rating. Across the county, one township and 13 villages have achieved Silver Certification, ranking second nationally in the number of Silver Certifications. The Environmental Protection Bureau stated that through the implementation of diverse low-carbon initiatives such as ecological greening, resource recycling, and the reuse of old buildings, Changhua has fully demonstrated the comprehensiveness and depth of its efforts in promoting sustainability. The Environmental Protection Bureau explained that promoting the Low-Carbon Sustainable Home Rating not only focuses on environmental aspects but also emphasizes the integration of local culture and community participation. By establishing mechanisms for local mobilization and professional guidance, it has further strengthened environmental action. For example, Puyan Township in Changhua leveraged the advantage of the Silver Certification for the Low-Carbon Sustainable Home Rating this year and, with the assistance of the county government team, successfully obtained a grant of NT$7.5 million from the Environmental Protection Agency's Forward-Looking Infrastructure Competitive Program, fully demonstrating local innovation and action power.
