The Chiayi District Prosecutors' Office investigated the case of forged recall petition documents related to DPP legislator Chen Guanting, confirming the forgery of 2,067 petition documents. Today, the office indicted 10 individuals, including KMT Chiayi County Party Secretary-General Yang Fucheng, KMT legislator Wang Yumin's office director He Boren, and others, on charges of document forgery. Among the 10 individuals indicted by the prosecutors are the Deputy Secretary-General of the Chiayi County Party, Head of the First Group, Head of the Fourth Group, Accountant, Staff, Branch Executive Director, and Volunteers. Additionally, eight relatives and friends who assisted in forging the petition documents received deferred prosecution and were ordered to pay NT$50,000 to the public treasury.
