The Chiayi District Prosecutors' Office is investigating the case of fabricating recall petition documents related to the DPP legislator Chen Guanting, and has indicted 10 people, including Yang Fucheng, the secretary-general of the Chiayi County branch of the KMT, and He Bolun, the head of the service office of KMT legislator Wang Yumin. The Chiayi District Court today ruled that Yang Fucheng and He Bolun will be released on bail of NT$5 million and NT$2 million respectively, with restrictions on residence and a ban on leaving the country or sea for 8 months. The other 8 people received a deferred prosecution decision, with a deferral period of 1 year, and each of them must pay NT$50,000 to the public treasury.
