A 64-year-old man surnamed Fu from Tainan City went missing after going hiking on the morning of July 31. Tainan City Fire Department found Fu's mini car in Baihe District on the same day, but Fu was not located. Until this afternoon, his body was found in a remote riverbed near Dafeng Mountain and was already clearly deceased. Tainan City Fire Department received a report on the evening of July 31 about Fu, who resides in Shangshan District, Tainan City. That morning, Fu told his family he would go hiking on Dafeng Mountain, drove out, and then went missing. Firefighters later found Fu's mini car at the Temple of the Earth God in Guanling, Baihe District, but searches in the surrounding mountainous area yielded no results. From July 31 to August 4, a large number of search and rescue personnel were mobilized, but the missing person was not found. Tainan City Fire Department personnel told reporters from Central News Agency that approximately 250 personnel, including fire department search and rescue personnel, volunteer firefighters, police, and civilian rescue teams, were mobilized over the past few days. Around 5 p.m. this afternoon, the missing person's body was found in a remote riverbed near Dafeng Mountain, but was already clearly deceased. The body was moved to an appropriate location, and family members were contacted to confirm the identity. The exact cause of death and detailed reasons will be investigated by the police.
