Cheerleader Agent Stabbed to Death, Fellow Companion Charged with Murder

The general manager of the agency of South Korean cheerleader He Ji-won, Zhan Zhi-neng, was stabbed with a watermelon knife by a man surnamed Huang at a convenience store in Fengyuan, Taichung on the 4th. After emergency treatment, Zhan Zhi-neng died from severe injuries. One hour after the crime, Huang went to Yongxing Police Station in the northern district of Taichung with the murder weapon and confessed to the police that he committed the crime out of dissatisfaction with Zhan's harassment of his girlfriend. During the investigation, the police found that Huang was accompanied by a man surnamed Kang at the time. After Huang drove away, he left Kang at the scene. Kang then left on his own and felt absurd about Huang's behavior of leaving alone without prior knowledge. Today, the police found Kang in Wanhua, Taipei, and notified him to come for questioning. Kang arrived at the Fengyuan investigation team at 4 p.m., underwent six hours of interrogation, and was transferred to the Taichung District Prosecutors' Office for further questioning at 10 p.m. that evening.
