Rongcheng's Pre-tax Loss Improved in July

Rongcheng, a major industrial paper manufacturer, announced on the 5th that its July revenue reached NT$3.594 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 5.88%. The pre-tax loss attributable to the parent company's shareholders was NT$88.57 million, a significant improvement compared to the pre-tax loss of NT$217 million in June. The cumulative revenue for the first seven months amounted to NT$25.058 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 7.92%, with a pre-tax loss attributable to the parent company's shareholders of NT$682 million. Rongcheng stated that the asset activation assessment for the Nankang plant is still in the consultation stage. Industry insiders noted that industrial paper prices in mainland China have risen, and it is expected that the market conditions in August will improve.
