The dengue fever outbreak in Guangdong Province, China, is severe. The Mainland Affairs Council advises the public to carefully consider the necessity of traveling to Guangdong Province or other areas in mainland China where dengue fever is prevalent. The Department of Health's Centers for Disease Control has listed Guangdong Province as a yellow international travel health warning zone. It is recommended that the public strengthen mosquito prevention measures and take good care of their own health. If symptoms such as fever and bone or joint pain appear after entering Taiwan, individuals should proactively inform the airport quarantine personnel and seek medical attention as soon as possible.
