On this day, a civic group called 'Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Piano Friends Association' held a concert in front of the Atomic Bomb Dead Victims Memorial Stone, playing on the 'Atomic Bomb Piano' to convey fear of nuclear weapons and prayers for peace. Hiroshima Mayor Kazumi Matsui emphasized in his peace declaration that establishing a security system based on dialogue is crucial, and called on the world to cherish the importance of peace.
