Ministry of Foreign Affairs: UN Resolution 2758 Does Not Involve Taiwan, Continuously Counter China with Friendly Nations

The Deputy Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,葛葆萱, hosted a luncheon for the "Group of Permanent Representatives of Friendly Nations at the UN in Geneva Visiting Taiwan" today, emphasizing that UN Resolution 2758 has no relation to Taiwan and cannot be used as an excuse to exclude Taiwan from participating in the UN system and other international organizations.葛葆萱 stated that Taiwan will continue to cooperate with friendly nations and like-minded partners to counter China's malicious misinterpretation of the resolution, in order to properly safeguard Taiwan's right to international participation and the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region. The members of the visiting group also expressed firm support for Taiwan and acknowledged Taiwan's contributions to the international community.
