Personnel from the Special Duties Unit of the Kowloon Tong Police District conducted a drug crackdown in the Sham Shui Po area based on intelligence and after an in-depth investigation yesterday (August 4). They intercepted a suspicious man outside a unit in Lai Kok Estate and found approximately 716 grams of suspected cannabis flowers, 23 suspected cannabis vape cartridges and e-cigarettes, 7 suspected cannabis-containing cookie packages, and approximately 11 grams of suspected霹靂 cocaine on his person. A 27-year-old local man surnamed Wong is suspected of 'trafficking dangerous drugs' and has been arrested. He is currently being detained for investigation. The total estimated value of the drugs seized during the operation is approximately HK$250,000.
