Eyewitness Stephanie Sammut described how the cyclist, who was cycling in the bike lane, failed to yield to the truck driver who suddenly braked, causing the cyclist to lose balance and be碾 over by the vehicle. Sammut immediately sounded the horn to alert nearby vehicles and brought her car to a stop at the intersection to wait for emergency services.
